Yabba Dabba Doo!

Today was the first day of post-Spring Break classes. On the brighter side, today was my first day practicing with the departmental softball team, the Flintstones. It was a shortened game, so I only got one at bat, but I managed an infield single, a close, sliding play at third, and to score a run, so all in all it could have gone much worse. Thanks to the slide, I even got a grass-stain "badge of honor" on my jeans, so it at least looked like I'd done well. If nothing else, it's a good thing I'm around to keep the English players up to date on their terminology (It's out and safe, not out and in! Jeez!).
